The Aqara Wall Outlet H2 EU, released on May 21st, is now available to order on Amazon. The smart outlet with energy monitoring supports Zigbee 3.0 and can be exposed to Matter through one of Aqara’s Hubs, such as the Aqara Hub E1, M2 or M3. It’s the first outlet from Aqara in Europe and could be a good alternative to their Smart Plug.
Power-based automations
The Wall Outlet is intended for the European market and fits regular 55mm frames. As it’s able to measure the amount of power requested, you can create automations such as getting a notification as soon as your washing machine is done. There’s also a physical button on the outlet itself, enabling control without a smartphone or voice assistent. A Led indicator shows the current state of the device.
The Aqara Wall Outlet H2 EU is available on Amazon Germany, Spain, Italy, France and Poland for €39.99. Check our previous article for more information on the Outlet from Aqara. Today Aqara also announced the Aqara U50 Smart Lock for the North American Market. This lock is similar to the already available Aqara U100, but lacks a fingerprint scanner. It’s available for pre-order on Amazon.com for $149,99.
