Today, Nuki announces the new Nuki Smart Lock Pro (5th generation). After the launch of the Smart Lock Ultra in November last year, the 5th generation Pro is a similar lock, but without the need to change your cylinder. To make this possible, the Nuki Smart Lock Pro is 12 mm longer compared to the Nuki Smart Lock Ultra. All other features of these locks are the same. Nuki also announced a new version of their more traditional lock, the Nuki Smart Lock Go.
Nuki Smart Lock Pro 5th generation
The Nuki Smart Lock Pro 5th generation is very similar to the Ultra model from Nuki. It has the same new smaller design, but is 12 mm longer to create space for existing cylinders. The Ultra requires a special cylinder from nuki, which is included when purchasing the Ultra. For anyone who doesn’t like to change their cylinders, you can now opt for the new Nuki Smart Lock Pro. It has the same 3 unlocking speeds available, up to 3 times faster than the 4th generation smart locks from Nuki. It’s also about lot smaller compared to that generation.
Matter over Thread is supported, allowing you to connect the lock directly to a Smart Home platform of choice. The build-in battery can be recharged by a magnetic cable in about 2 hours, with a battery life up to 9 months. A keypad to unlock your door with your fingerprint or pincode is available separately. The Nuki Smart Lock Pro 5th Gen is available for €269, compared to €349 of the Ultra model.
Nuki Go
The new Nuki Go is the most affordable Smart Lock from Nuki, available for €149. It features the same design as the 4th generation smart locks from Nuki and works with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Matter over Thread. However, Matter over Thread is only available after a one-off purchase of €49. Other features are similar to the 4th generation smart locks. While it works with 4 included AA-batteries, you can also opt for the separately available Nuki Power Pack.
With the launch of the Go, Pro and previously available Ultra, Nuki has fully renewed their line-up. As the Pro variant now also features the looks of the Ultra, it seems like Nuki is moving towards this new smaller design, while still offering a more affordable option with the Nuki Go.

All three smart locks are now available at the Nuki official webshop. The Nuki Smart Lock Go is available for €149, the Nuki Smart Lock Pro is priced at €269 and the Nuki Smart Lock Ultra, including a cylinder, is available for €349.

I have my eye on the Nuki Smart Lock Pro (5th Gen) but the nuki guide recommends the entrance model, which is too big and not smart looking.
My door lock is a cylinder and the inside lock is a nub. Would it be possible to fit the pro to the door?
Hi! A knob and a euro cylinder are fine for the pro. You can also always try it out and return the lock if it doesn’t fit after all. Could you let me know which choices you made during the Nuki guide? This way I’m able to determine which part of the guide is the blocking issue.
