SwitchBot launched the SwitchBot Battery Circulator Fan in the United States. The fan is able to rotate horizontally and vertically, has adjustable speed levels and a build-in battery. It’s compatible with all SwitchBot hubs, but doesn’t support Matter. It’s available immediately for $99,99 at the official SwitchBot website.
Features
The SwitchBot Battery Circulator Fan is a smart fan with several options for automation and control. After connecting the fan to one of the hubs from SwitchBot, such as the SwitchBot Hub, it’s possible to automate the fan by using the temperature and humidity sensors of the SwitchBot Hub 2. As soon as the room temperature and/or humidity reaches a specific level, the fan will start the circulate air. This will be more effective when you combine this with you current airconditioning or the SwitchBot Humidifier. The hubs from SwitchBot are also able to turn on your existing airconditioning with their infrared sensors.

Matter is not supported, so there’s no integration with Apple HomeKit. However, it is possible to add the fan to Siri Shortcuts, allowing for control with Siri or through a shortcut on your Apple devices. Google Home and Amazon Alexa are available through their cloud integration.
