SwitchBot is launching their third product this month, the Meter Pro and the SwitchBot Meter Pro (CO₂ Monitor). Both can be used indoor as well as outdoor. It can measure temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels as well as showing the time, date and weather forecast. The Meter Pro and Meter Pro (CO₂ Monitor) are both suitable for indoor and outdoor use and show several different measurements. Here are the main features:

NDIR technology
The SwitchBot Meter Pro (CO₂ Monitor) version has Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR), which allows the meter to monitor CO₂ levels with more precision. It can updates the levels every second. Compared to the regular Meter Pro, the CO₂ Monitor version can also be powered by a USB-C cable, which allows usage of more frequently updated data without draining the battery too much.
The Meter Pro can store up to 68 days of data locally or up to 2 years of free cloud storage using a SwitchBot Hub. The Meter Pro (CO₂ Monitor) has room for up to 48 days of local storage. A SwitchBot Hub with Matter support also enables the usage of the SwitchBot Meter Pro in a Matter supported app such as Apple HomeKit. It’s not yet confirmed if the Meter Pro (CO₂ Monitor) also supports Matter.

Update September 4th, 2024 18:45: Adjustments made to reflect it’s not confirmed whether the Meter Pro (CO₂ Monitor) supports Matter. The regular Meter Pro does support Matter with a Matter enabled hub from SwitchBot.
