SwitchBot released several new products in May this year with the SwitchBot Lock Ultra, Keypad Vision and the SwitchBot Hub 3. During the announcement of these new products on Youtube, they also announced the release of several other new products in the coming months. Next to these product launches, they also showed a teaser of their new SwitchBot AI Hub. We list all the new products below.
New SwitchBot products in June
In June, most of the announced products will be released. This means these products are available very soon:
- SwitchBot Smart Video Doorbell
- SwitchBot Multitasking Household Robot K20+ Pro
- SwitchBot Led Strip Light 3
- SwitchBot Floor Lamp
- SwitchBot Garage Door Opener
The SwitchBot Led Strip Light 3 is already available on the official SwitchBot website and Amazon. This is also the case with the SwitchBot Garage Door Opener (SwitchBot, Amazon). With code 10UPQK7XDTYQZG, you get a 10% discount on your complete order at the SwitchBot website. The other products, like the Multitasking Household Robot K20+ Pro will be released later this month. The K20+ Pro is especially interesting as this device will offer a platform which you can use to connect all kind of SwitchBot devices, like the Air Purifier. This allows you to automatically purify the air in different rooms, as the K20+ Pro should be able to navigate to these rooms. At launch, there will probably be more details available on all the different use cases.
July en August
In July and August, SwitchBot will launch several new products:
- SwitchBot Plug Mini (EU) (July)
- SwitchBot Safety Alarm (July)
- SwitchBot Smart Radiator Thermostat (August)
- SwitchBot RGBIC Neon Rope Light (August)
- SwitchBot Candle Lamp (August)
This means for the first time, SwitchBot will offer a smart plug in Europe. While there are already a lot of different options available, it’s nice to have the option to choose SwitchBot for a Smart Plug if you already own other SwitchBot products. SwitchBot will also launch a Safety Alarm, which will probably be a personal wireless alarm button, which you can push in case of emergency. We expect it will be connected to your smartphone over Bluetooth, similar to the flic Smart Button.
With the RGBIC Neon Rope Light and Candle Lamp, SwitchBot is also expanding their lighting products. Until now, this product group wasn’t really the focus of SwitchBot, but this seems to change with these releases. With the Smart Radiator Thermostat, SwitchBot is offering a similar device as their competition, like Tado, Aqara and Eve. We’re interested to see the specific options and possibilities of this device. As soon as more information is available, you will read it on this website.
SwitchBot AI Hub
During the Youtube event from SwitchBot, they also announced the SwitchBot AI Hub. They are referring to a Smart Home 2.0 experience with AI integration. With AI, all your SwitchBot devices should be able to work together, with the AI Hub as a central hub to control and process everything. This hub works with a Vision Language Model and uses Edge AI Processing. With SwitchBot sensors and camera’s, the hub can detect changes in the environment, which can trigger several other devices like a SwitchBot Bot, robot vacuum or air purifier. The new K20+ Pro will probably play a central role given the possibility to move your devices using a special platform on top of the robot vacuum. More details regarding a launch date or pricing is currently not yet available. This might change during the IFA in Berlin in September, where SwitchBot usually launches several new products and shows their latest innovations.
