As CES 2025 is around the corner, SwitchBot announces their latest innovations, showcased at CES in Las Vegas this week. They launch the SwitchBot Multitasking Household Robot K20+ Pro, according to SwitchBot the world’s first multitasking household robot. It’s a similar robot vacuum as the K10+ Pro adjusted with a detachable mobile platform on top, allowing users to integrate the SwitchBot K20+ Pro with various household task, like delivering objects, pet monitoring, purifying various rooms of the house and more. Next, it also updates the SwitchBot S10 Robot Vacuum with the S20 Pro, which features an extendable brush and mop to reach corners.
SwitchBot K20+Pro
The K20+ Pro is a robot vacuum similar to the SwitchBot K10+ Pro. It can vacuum your floors and has a base station for dust collection and charging. With the K20+ Pro comes a mobile platform called FustionPlatform. This platform can physically connect to the K20+ Pro. This way, the robot vacuum transforms from a vacuum to a driving platform, which is able to navigate through your house and can deliver objects like the laundry, coffee et cetera to another room. It can also be used to purify air in different rooms of the house by connecting the SwitchBot Air Purifier to the K20+ Pro. The K20+ Pro will move to different rooms on it’s own to purify air. While it’s still unclear how this work in practice, SwitchBot mentioned several other examples and use cases.
Home Security & Smart Delivery
Connecting a SwitchBot Pan/Tilt Cam Plus or 3K, the K20+ Pro can offer real time monitoring, allowing users to watch over pets, children and valuable items. It offers real-time monitoring, motion detection and instant notifications. It’s currently unclear if the SwitchBot K20+ Pro is able to e.g. follow a pet through the house.
The platform of the K20+ Pro is also able to carry food, drinks and small packages. It can handle up to 8 kg of weight. SwitchBot mentions use cases such as delivering items to seniors or managing pet care supplies.
Other options are the ability to attach a stand for your tablet or attaching the SwitchBot Circulator Fan. There will also be a combo available with a cordless vacuum. Next to all these possibilities, the K20+ Pro can also be used like the K10+ Pro for regular robot vacuuming. It offers Lidar navigation, dual laser detection and centimeter-level accuracy in avoiding obstacles.
The SwitchBot K20+ Pro will be available on the SwitchBot official website later this year. More information and visuals can be found on the official CES 2025 event page of SwitchBot. Prices for the K20+ Pro are currently not yet announced.
The SwitchBot K20+ Pro is now available for pre-order. Prices start at €599,99/£599,99/$699,99 on the SwitchBot official website.
SwitchBot Floor Cleaning Robot S20 Pro
SwitchBot also updates their flagship robot vacuum S10 with the S20 Pro. The S10 is known for the ability to get water from your main water supply automatically and is also able to refill the SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier on it’s own. With he S20 Pro, Switchbot offers a dual-extension design with an extendable side brush for cleaning of corners and an extendable roller mop to clean edges, ensuring up to 100% coverage of your floor.
The S20 Pro has a dual anti-tangle design. It now has a 15.000 Pa suction power, which is significantly higher than the S10 (6.000 Pa) and most other high-end Robot Vacuums. It comes in two different configurations, with a regular water tank of the auto refill and drain system. The S20 Pro is compatible with the S10 Water Station and the Evaporative Humidifier.

The S20 Pro will be Matter-certified without the need for a dedicated hub from SwitchBot. This means it will be possible to integrate the S20 Pro with Apple HomeKit, as soon as Apple adds this functionality. This is expected within the coming months. Availability and price of the SwitchBot S20 is currently not yet announced.
