Seven ways to ensure cleanliness and hygiene
SwitchBot has added seven features to the Humidifier to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. It emits tiny steam particles which don’t release impurities, it’s made with antibacterial materials and bacteria growth from long term water storage is prevented by a silver ion antibacterial module. A Sterilisation filter cartridge prevents bacterial increase and an air filter screen stops dust entering the water. Last, a suspended filter element which is not directly immersed in water makes it difficult for bacteria to reproduce and an automatic arid drying filter ensures the filter element is clean en doorless.
The SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier works over Wifi and Bluetooth and can be used with Matter using a Matter enabled hub from SwitchBot, such as the SwitchBot Hub 2. The humidifier will appear as a on/off button through matter, so no other settings can be adjusted through the Matter integration.
Auto-refill with the SwitchBot S10
A unique feature of the SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier unlocks when you also have the SwitchBot S10 Robot Vacuum. As this vacuum is attached to your water system, it can automatically refill the water tank of the humidifier when needed, by driving towards to humidifier. Without any human intervention, it connects to the humidifier and pushes the water towards the water tank. With this new feature, SwitchBot connects different products in a smart way, allowing users to entirely forget about refilling the humidifier.
